| Greg Chertok is currently a Sport Psychology Counselor and Fitness Trainer at the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Center. He received his B.A. in Psychology at Tufts University and M.Ed. in Counseling specializing in Sport & Exercise Psychology at Boston University in 2007. While at Tufts, he captained the 2006 Baseball team and, as the three-year starting shortstop, led the team to its 14th consecutive winning season and the conference championship. He finished his career as an ESPN The Magazine Academic Regional All-American and a New England College All-Star, playing his final game at Fenway Park for the All-Star team. He served as the Sport Psychology Consultant for the Boston University Athletic Enhancement Center, conducting group mental skills training workshops for youth and adult athletes and counseling high school varsity athletes on techniques to enhance athletic performance. Greg has written numerous articles in various athletic newsletters on sport psychology topics, and has co-authored a book geared toward youth baseball coaches entitled Small Ball: Coaching Youth Baseball. He currently runs the EXACT Sports Performance Program for Student Athletes at PMR as well as co-owning and operating a youth summer baseball academy called Pitch by Pitch Baseball, Inc., in Congers, NY.
